CYAMÍTES, æ, Gr. Κυαμίτης, ου, hatte seinen besondern Tempel in Attica, ob gleich nicht bekannt war, ob er zuerst das Säen der Bohnen erfunden haben, oder sonst ein alter Held gewesen seyn sollte. Paus. Attic. c. 37. p. 69. Wenigstens heißt er dem Namen nach so viel als Fabarius, (Interpr. Paus. l. c.) weil κύαμος im Griechischen eine Bohne bedeutet.
