Minyae

MINYAE, arum, Gr. Μίνυαι, ῶν, sind so viel, als die Argonauten, die solchen Namen von folgendem Minyas haben. Lycophr. v. 874. & ad eum Tzetz. l. c. & Hygin. Fab. 14. Es hießen aber nachher auch ihre Kinder so, welche sie mit den Weibern in Lemnos bey ihrem dasigen Aufenthalte zeugeten. Hygin. Fab. 15. Als die Pelasger vier Menschenalter darnach sich dieser Insel bemächtigten, so verjageten sie solche daraus. Dion. Halic. Ant. Rom. l. I. p. 9. sq. Sie giengen nach Lakonien hinüber, und wurden daselbst anfänglich gut aufgenommen, bald aber wieder verjaget, da sich denn die meisten auf die Insel Kallista begaben. Herod. Melp. IV. sect. 145. sq.
