MOTHÓNE, es, Gr. Μοθώνη, ης, ( Tab. XXVI.) des Oeneus Tochter, von welcher die Stadt Mothone, im Peloponnesus, den Namen bekommen haben soll, da sie zuvor Pedasus geheißen. Pausan. Messen. c. 35. p. 282.
