PHEMONOË, es, ( Tab. XIV.) des Apollo Tochter, Plin. H. N. l. X. c. 3. eine der Sibyllen, und zwar, nach einigen, die cumanische, Serv. ad Virg. Aen. III. v. 445. nach andern die samische, Isidor. ap. Fabric. Biblioth. Gr. l. I. c. 25. §. 4. die aber die dritten auch für gar keine derselben erkennen wollen. Petr. Petit. ap. eumd. l. c. Wenigstens war sie doch eine Pythia zu Delph und die Erfinderinn der hexametrischen Verse. Pausan. Phoc. c. 5. p. 617. Daß aber noch ihr Orneosophion vorhanden seyn soll, wird sich leicht niemand bereden lassen. Fabric. l. c. §. 5. 6.
