PRONOEA, æ, Gr. Πρόνοια, ας, ein Beynamen der Minerva, welche zu Delph ihren besondern Tempel hatte. Pausan. Phoc. c. 8. p. 623. Er heißt so viel, als Providentia, die Vorsehung. Gyrald. Synt. XII. p. 355.
