PHASIÁNE, es, Gr. Φασιάνη, ης, eine Göttinn der Kolchier, welche ihren Tempel an dem Flusse Phasis hatte. Man hielt sie für einerley mitder Cybele, weil sie eine Pauke in der Hand, unter ihrem Throne aber ein Paar Löwen hatte, und in ihrer Bildsäule solcher glich. Arrian. Peripl Pon. Eux. p. 120. Gyrald.
