PROTHÖÉNOR, ŏris, Gr. Προθοήνωρ, ορος, ( Tab. XI.) des Archilykus und der Theobula Sohn, und des Arcesilaus Bruder, gieng mit sieben Schiffen seiner Leute, aus Böotien, mit vor Troja. Hygin. Fab. 97. Er wurde daselbst von dem Polydamas erleget. Homer. Il. Ξ. v. 449. Man nennet ihn sonst auch wohl Prothenor. Homer. ap. Fabram ad Dict. c. 13. Cf. Munck. ad Hygin. l. c.
