PSAMĂTHE, es, Gr. Ψαμάθη, ης, ( Tab. IV.) des Nereus und der Doris Tochter. Apollod. l. I. c. 2. §. 7. Sie wollte dem Aeakus nicht zu Willen seyn, und verwandelte sich daher in einen Brunnen. Er ließ sie aber auch so nicht mit Frieden, und sie gebar darauf von ihm den Phokus. Id. l. III. c. 11. §. 6.
