TYNDARĬDAE, árum, Gr. Τυνδαρίδαι, ῶν, ein gemeiner Beynamen des Kastor und Pollux. Ovid. Trist. l. I. Eleg. 9. v. 45. & ad eum Merula l. c. Eigentlich aber kann nur Kastor Tyndarides genannt werden, als welcher des Tyndarus Sohn gewesen; dahingegen Pollux den Jupiter zum Vater gehabt haben soll. Hygin. Fab. 77.
